“V” Werenko
Lisa V. Werenko, known as “V” to her friends, is a creative artist whose creations of expressionist portraiture and conceptual images have been privately collected since 1981. Her visual work also includes sculpture and a variety of design work.
Exhibitions of her paintings in New York City and Santa Fe New Mexico have been favorably reviewed.
Her one of a kind jewelry designs called Eidolons, which were accompanied by her original poetry, sold in Soho NY and through various Galleries in the U.S and in several European countries.
Her collaborative works include an NBC Afterschool Special “Nicky and the Nerd” which won the Hollywood Reporter Award.
She co-authored the award-winning “Circus, A Pop-Up Adventure,” which was engineered by Arty Projects, illustrated by Meg Davenport and published by Simon and Schuster in four languages for world wide sale.

She co created plush toys produced by Gund Toys and a popular comic strip, a series of picture books by Scholastic Publications, which have been widely read and enjoyed by over a million children, , She co- wrote “The Earthday Birthday,” screenplay for the animated film that showed for five years running on HBO to help launch children's earthday celebration. The animation is still on HBO today, with voiceovers by Christopher Reeve, Fred Gwynne, and Lainie Kazan.
Her stage plays have been produced at such important venues as the historic Lensic Theater in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where one of her productions, “Every 21 Seconds”- starred Teri Garr in a very successful run.
